Covenanter Scottish Festival

Scottish Festival – September 10, 2022
The ninth annual Covenanter Scottish Festival and Highland Games will be held on the Middle Octorara Church campus, 1199 Valley Road, Quarryville, on September 10, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Proceeds benefit the efforts to maintain and restore the Octorara Covenanter Presbyterian Church and Schoolroom Museum. Featured will be Scottish games, a veterans ceremony (Korean War era – include a ninety year old veteran who was part of a MASH Unit in Korea), Scottish dancers, piping competitions, a haggis ceremony, sheepherding, a reenactment of the Octorara Declaration, spinning and weaving and other demonstrations, Scottish clans and vendors, tours and research at the Museum, and plenty of good food.
