Amphibians need water to mate. Spring rains fill temporary wetlands, known as vernal pools, that amphibians LOVE! Join Conservancy naturalists for an exploration of the frogs, toads, and salamanders who use the wetlands at Conoy Wetlands for breeding. We will take a short hike off-trail that will require a little bush whacking. We can expect (hope) to hear a number of different amphibians calling and see some of them as well!
