Our Pet Philosophy: We strive to create communities where life continues and gets better for our residents. We embrace the benefits of welcoming other living beings into our communities to give purpose, entertainment and companionship to our residents. We not only encourage residents to bring their animal companions, but when they can no longer care for their pets, we also provide services so that they can continue to enjoy their companionship.
We welcome: Any pet who will be comfortable and safe in our apartments such as dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, etc.
Restrictions: None. We welcome pets in all levels of care. We appreciate and value the benefits of animal companions at any age, at any life stage. In our memory care program, pets help calm residents and can ease anxiety.
Deposits/fees: There is no deposit or monthly fee, as long as the resident is able to safely care for his or her pet. We offer a care plan for pets when a resident is no longer able to care for them or is off campus for an extended period of time.
Weight/size limit: We do not have a specific limit but advise residents to consider the size of their pets when considering apartment styles, as we want the resident (and pet) to be safe and comfortable.
Are residents permitted to have more than one pet? We welcome multiple animal companions as long as the resident and pets can live together comfortably and safely in the same apartment.
Exercise: We are set in a beautiful suburban neighborhood and have a large, fenced-in garden backyard for dogs and residents to enjoy. There are also walking areas on the campus.
Are residents’ visitors permitted to bring their pets on campus? Absolutely! We love visitors: two and four legged. We do require visiting pets to be up to date on vaccinations (just like our resident pets) and well-adjusted around our many adoring residents and co-workers.
In case of emergency: We offer our Pet Care Program through our designated Pet Care Coordinators who can walk, feed, administer medication, brush, launder pet linens, coordinate appointments and transportation, maintain health and vaccination records and touch up the pet’s living areas. This is offered either on a temporary basis or on a more regular basis for residents who are unable to care for their pets but still enjoy their companionship.
Are there veterinary practices located near your community? Several are in close proximity, including one practice that cares for our house/community pets.
