Runners can test their skills and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day during the Junior League of Lancaster’s 14th Annual Run4Luck.
The popular 4-mile run, 2-mile walk and Kids Fun Run is set to kickoff at 9 a.m. at Lancaster Country Day School. The Kids Fun Run begins at 9, followed by the 4-mile run that will start at 9:30 a.m. and the 2-mile walk at 9:40 a.m. Registration is available at runsignup.com/Race/PA/Lancaster/Run4Luck.
Top male and female finishers in the 4-mile race will be awarded prizes. Additionally, prizes will be awarded for the team with the most festive St. Patrick’s Day spirit and for the most festively dressed pooch.
Race packets are available for pickup on Friday, March 15, at Lancaster County Day School from 3-7 p.m. Packets can also be picked up on race day beginning at 8 a.m. at the registration tent.
Early registration fee is $25 per adult, $22 per team registration and $10 for the Kids Fun Run. The fee includes a long sleeve t-shirt and race bag (while supplies last), finisher medals, food and prizes. Late registration through March 15 is $35.
The Junior League of Lancaster’s 2018 New Member Class will also host a free Health and Wellness Fair at Lancaster Country Day School. Held in tandem with the annual Run4Luck, the fair will feature local vendors and health organizations. The fair’s theme, Super Heroes Super Health, will encourage children to live a healthy lifestyle by providing information about health and well-being through live demonstrations, health and fitness classes, healthy snacks and other fun activities. This event will be free and open to the public.
