The Seagull is an adaptation by Anya Reiss of Chekhov’s famous play, it takes place on a remote estate where unfulfilled ambitions haunt many of the guests. It is a drama set in the Russian countryside at the end of the 19th century. The cast of characters are unsatisfied with their lives. Some desire love. Some desire success. Some desire artistic genius. No one, however, ever seems to attain happiness.
