"Art Heals": Public Art Installation unveiling
Ribbon-cutting ceremony for “Art Heals,” a large-scale art installation by artist and expressive arts therapist Jennifer Quigley, MA, LPC, REAT, on display outside PCA&D and in the College Art Garden, corner of Prince and Chestnut streets in downtown Lancaster. Live music by Heather Vidal.
Quigley is the inaugural Artist in Residence for the College’s Healing Arts Residency, an ongoing partnership between local medical facilities, key community leaders and influencers, and the art and design education community. Its goal is to develop initiatives which inspire creative practices and promote community healing, wellness, coping, and personal growth.
“Art Heals” is on display on the College facade and in the Art Garden through mid-August.
