Make & Take: Bracelet
Have fun and learn while creating your very own wearable work of art. In this hands-on workshop, local artist Tracy Allen of Bead Mine Forever will show you how to make a beautiful bracelet using gemstones, glass, vintage beads, polymer clay and wood/bone. You’ll get tips on measuring wrist size; working with wire and strand thicknesses; choosing crimps and clasps, and finishing your piece. Tracy has been making jewelry for more than 30 years. Influenced by arts and cultures around the world, she is known for her work with gemstones, pearl, shell, wood, sea glass, crystal, ceramic, metal and trade beads. Her pieces have been sold in stores and galleries throughout Pennsylvania, including our Artisan Village.
