David Fishel: Esoteric Images - Beyond Photography

Esoteric Images- Beyond Photography, an exhibit of artwork from David Fishel, will be on exhibit at Mulberry Art Studios for the month of April. The show opens with a First Friday Reception on April 1st.

David Fishel graduated from the Philadelphia College of Art in 1968 with a degree in Film and spent several years working as a cinematographer, photographer and graphic artist in both commercial and public television and in his own business, Catseye Productions. Having also learned to play the guitar while studying in Philadelphia, he began writing songs and recorded his first of 11 albums of original songs in 1977.

He then moved to his second home on the Spanish island of Menorca where he performed in many venues throughout the 80s and 90s, while concurrently developing skills in mixed media fine art painting and photography and ultimately digital photography, and digital image editing. He had his first public exhibition of works in this medium in the town of Alaior, Menorca, called “Esoteric Images”, in 2019.

Dave has also recently published an illustrated book of poetry, song lyrics, commentary and quotations titled “Food for Thought” which is available through Amazon, Target, and Barnes and Noble.

Dave currently resides in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania with his longtime friend and audio engineer, Rick Gladfelter and his two dogs, Poco and Mica.
