The Junior League of Lancaster (JLL), an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers, is excited to announce the launch of its 1st Annual Cornhole Classic, a free admission, family-friendly community event, on Saturday, September 17th from 2:00–8:00 p.m. at Kissel Valley Farm (645 E. Oregon Road/Lititz, PA 17543).
Open to the public, guests of all ages will be treated to live music, local artisan vendor stands to shop from, a silent auction, and an opportunity to win big in a 50/50 raffle. Children will be able to enjoy a host of engaging activities throughout the day, including inflatables to play and ride on, a llama farm, and temporary tattoo artistry stations. Beer and wine will be on-site and available for purchase from the Bulls Head Public House. Cuisines from around the world will be prepared from a variety of local food trucks, including Meat The Browns, Homage, and KatieCakes & Co. The JLL will receive a percentage of all food and beverage sales.
Attendees are also able to compete in an organized cornhole tournament where declared winners of each category (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) will be awarded prizes. Online registration to participate, whether as an individual ($15.00/per person) or team ($30.00/two players), is open and will close on Friday, September 9th at 11:59 p.m. Day-of registration will remain available to interested players until 3:00 p.m. All registration fees are non-refundable.
