Service Dogs Golf Tournament

Service dogs provide invaluable support and companionship and this event supports programming as well as their training so UDS can continue to help members of our community in this way.

The Crossgates Golf Club is a beautiful public course located in Millersville, PA. Bordered by the Conestoga River and nestled into gently rolling hills, Crossgates Golf Club offers 18 holes of challenging play, SUPERB course conditions, a driving range, full service pro shop, and a comfortable restaurant with delicious food. It has been named Best of Lancaster County in both the LNP “Readers’ Choice Awards” and the Lancaster County Magazine’s “Best of Lancaster” for 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021!

More About The 3rd Annual Service Dogs Golf Tournament:

UDS will host the third annual golf tournament supporting its service dogs on Friday, August 26 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Crossgates Golf Club, 1 Crossland Ps, Millersville, Pennsylvania. The proceeds will be used to purchase 12 new puppies for the program and cover veterinary costs for 25 dogs. The program invests $25,000 in each dog while clients are charged just $5,000. While only a portion of the dogs that go through the training process provide mobility assistance, many go to work as in-home companions or facility dogs.
