The Easter Bunny Train is a unique and memorable way to celebrate the holiday. This train is extra special because the conductor is none other than Peter Cottontail! As you travel, the Easter Bunny will hop from car to car and visit with guests. New this year is Candy Drops, which is hosted by the Easter Bunny and his friends and will occur on the hour between 12 and 5 p.m. at a designated location along the pedestrian mall area. Children can head to the Candy Drops area after their train ride and try to collect as much Easter candy as possible! Ryan Observatory Open House

Ryan Observatory at Muddy Run is a public outreach facility with programming designed for S.T.E.A.M. interests and featuring astronomical sciences. The observatory and its educational programs are provided by Rittenhouse Astronomical Society under contract with Constellation Energy. The observatory is open to the public for monthly stargazing and presentations such as Open House event. During the Open House, observatories will be open for a period of time. Art is also featured; this month Amelia Rose DiMaio will speak about her book, Ellie the Bunny Hops to the Moon, while Ashley Zelinskiewill share her work in astronomical art. The Friends of the Tanger Arboretum is hosting their annual dinner, proceeds from which will benefit The Louise Arnold Tanger Arboretum. The 11-acre arboretum is home to a multitude of plant specimens and garden features on the grounds of LancasterHistory and President James Buchanan’s Wheatland. The Arboretum includes over 100 species of trees from all over the world, as well as two Pennsylvania State Champion trees, pollinator gardens and an American Conifer Society Reference Garden. The guest speaker will be Andrew Conboy (pictured), an urban forester, arborist and native plant enthusiast from Philadelphia. United Disabilities Services celebrates 61 years of providing personal care and support services to older adults and people with disabilities with a gala benefit that will welcome former Philadelphia Phillies’ star, John Kruk, as the keynote speaker. The evening will get underway with a cocktail hour, followed by a full-course dinner. Silent and live auctions will also be held. Kruk will also be on hand for an “extra innings” after-party that will follow the gala. He will participate in a fireside-style interview (conducted by Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro) and pose for photos. Raffle tickets will be sold for the after-party event, with 10 lucky winners being given the opportunity to attend. Winners will be announced April 1.
