Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Courses with Penn State Health

Mindfulness-based stress reduction courses start in March

Penn State Health will host an eight-week online (Zoom) course designed to help relieve stress and increase well-being in everyday life. Participants can choose between two series:

  • Monday sessions (6-8:30 p.m.): Orientation March 21; sessions from April 4 to May 23.
  • Wednesday sessions (6-8:30 p.m.): Orientation March 30; sessions from April 6 to May 25.

Both series include a retreat from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 14.

Participants are required to attend the following:

  • An orientation session
  • Eight weekly classes, each two and a half to three hours long
  • An all-day (seven-hour) Saturday silent retreat between class six and seven
