At Yuletide at Wheatland, you’ll uncover what this festive time of year was like during the lifetime of President James Buchanan. In a guided tour, a historically costumed guide will take visitors through both floors of the decorated mansion, exploring the history of the Christmas holiday as James Buchanan and others in the mid-Victorian era celebrated or experienced it.
Tours available from November 22-December 30.
Tours are offered Tuesdays – Saturdays, on the hour, from 10am through 3pm (last tour of the day). The last week of December, however, tours will be offered Monday – Friday, on the hour, from 10am through 3pm.
