Lantern Tours at Ephrata Cloister

These special tours don’t tell the full Ephrata story but take you back in time to discover a special story from the past. The theatrical-style program is led by the Student Historians, local high school students who take on the roles of people from history to lead you through selected historic buildings as the story unfolds. This year visitors will join Mrs. Fahnestock as she plans the wedding of an Ephrata Sister and a young man working for the Brothers. This light-hearted look at the past will provide enjoyment for the entire family.

Tours begin at 6:00 p.m., each night and a new tour starts every 30 minutes with the last tour beginning at 8:30 p.m. Attendance at each tour is limited.

Advance tickets are required. Admission is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors age 65+, $7 for students age 6-17, $5 for children age 3-5, under age 3 are free.

Tickets are available beginning December 1st.
