This farm-to-table dinner, which will be prepared by Chef Jason Hampton, benefits individuals and families who are facing medical hardships. This year’s beneficiaries include (clockwise from left) Steven Drake, who is dealing with early onset Alzheimer’s disease and Lewy body dementia; Nika Corwin, who has been battling Lyme disease for more than 10 years; Angelica Zander, who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor at age 8; and Isaiah Shorter, who underwent surgery for a malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor at age 14. The event, which will be held at the home of Carol and Pete Heth in West Hempfield Township, includes a mix-and-mingle reception with wine, beer, hors d’oeuvres and music provided by Scott Parmer.
