New York-based pianist Mathis, originally from France & Madagascar, blends diverse musical and cultural influences. Hailed as a “rising star” by The Scotsman at age 10, he’s now a leading voice of his generation. An ASCAP Next Generation Songwriters recipient and Juilliard alum mentored by Kenny Barron, Mathis has performed worldwide.
