Fool-ish
Three of Shakespeare’s fools are stranded on a desert island. How do they escape when the only tools they have are music, wit, words and play? TBD, but the process is guaranteed to be lots of fun for the whole family! On the heels of its smash hit production of Cymbeline, The People’s Shakespeare Project (TPSP) presents Fool-ish, an original work devised by Sena Taşkapılıoğlu and Laura Korach Howell, exploring some of the Bard’s iconic “fool” characters. Running April 5 to 14, this world premiere is TPSP’s second production at West Art (Lancaster’s increasingly popular “living room” for live entertainment) and a first offering in the venue’s more intimate upstairs performance space. 7:30 p.m. show times; visit website for dates, details, and tickets.
