Join the Lititz Historical Foundation on Saturday, January 8th for a special program at the Lititz Public Library!
Area historian Benton Webber will present on Lancaster County’s portion of the historic Lincoln Highway. Did you know that the Lincoln Highway (otherwise known as US Route 30), spans across thirteen states, and is also one of the oldest transcontinental routes in the country?
Webber will discuss Lancaster’s place along this roadway, as well as talk about a special project he’s been involved with in bringing the Lincoln Highway markers back to the spotlight.
This program, which will begin at 1:30pm, is free, but registration is required. REGISTRATION OPENS on December 27th at 9am. To reserve a seat beginning December 27th, contact the Lititz Public Library at 717-626-2255. Masks are required, and this program is limited to 50 persons, maximum.
