Metal Embossing: Explorations from Latin America to Greece
Join the Center for Creative Exploration at PCA&D and artist Nichole Madonna for a guided, drop-in Metal Embossing workshop at Zoetropolis Cinema and Stillhouse! Metal embossing is a creative tradition that spans from Latin American Corazones Repujados collected by Frida Kahlo to intricate ancient Greek and Roman armor and contemporary American craft! In this pop-up workshop you will learn how to use simple tools and thin aluminum sheeting to create beautiful wall hangings, ornaments, or embellishments! This pop-up is open to ages 10 and up with adult supervision. Coloring pages available for 10 and under.
