Shakespeare in the Park: "Love's Labour's Lost"

Shakespeare in the Park: "Love's Labour's Lost"

LOVE’S LABOUR’S LOST is the inaugural Shakespeare-in-the-Park production in Musser Park and the first under the company’s new name, Lancaster Shakespeare Theatre.

Audience members are encouraged to “pay what they will,” bring a lawn chair, and, if they really want to get into the spirit, dress for the 1920s!

Director Rachel Luann Strayer has set this production against the backdrop of the Roaring Twenties (and the Lancaster Museum of Art portico)! Live Jazz Age music may have audience members dancing The Charleston and partying like it’s 1924!

NYC’s Central Park has suspended its free Shakespeare-in-the-Park this summer as the famous Delacorte Theater gets renovated. Luckily for Lancaster City, we now have the new Lancaster Shakespeare Theatre. What better way to celebrate than to join us for Shakespeare in the Park?
