Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cups Gluten-free All-purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Almond Meal
  • 2-1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1-1/4 cups Milk
  • 3/4 cups Butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp. Almond Extract
  • 1/3 cup sliced Almonds
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar for garnish

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9” springform pan with nonstick spray and set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, sugar, almond meal, baking powder and salt. In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat eggs, milk, butter, honey, vanilla and almond extracts. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined. Add the sliced almonds and mix until well incorporated. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Garnish with powdered sugar and serve warm.
