The speaker for the evening’s program is Dr. Kerry Givens, who will speak on Stories from the Understory: A Macrophotographer’s Very Close Look at Trees, Forests, and the Beauty Hidden Within. Kerry Givens, MD is a lifelong Pennsylvania naturalist/photographer whose day job as a busy ophthalmologist frequently interferes with the important task of taking pictures of nature. His images have been published in hundreds of books, magazines, and greeting cards, including words by the Audubon Society, Sierra Club, and National Geographic. Givens’ talk will provide a rich, pictorial retrospective of his years as a macrophotographer.
