On December 8th, Lancaster City’s Welcome Center will partner with Lancaster Recreation Commission, the Center for Creative Exploration at Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, Demuth Foundation, and more to host a Holiday Extravaganza at the Lancaster City Welcome Center. The evening will include a free screening of the holiday classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966), cookie decorating sponsored by Giant Food Stores, creative activities by a variety of community partners including the Center for Creative Exploration at PCA&D and Demuth Foundation. Starting at 5pm, participants are welcome to visit with Santa and participate in a wide variety of activities like gift wrap making, ornament making, cookie decorating and more. The screening, organized by Lancaster Recreation Commission, will begin at 6:30pm and will have closed captioning.
This family friendly event will coincide with Santa visiting the Lancaster City Welcome Center from 5pm-8pm. Holiday costumes are welcome and encouraged!
