Music Under the Trees: Gretna Music’s 2022 Season

Pianist Conrad Tao and dancer/choreographer Caleb Teicher are astonishing in this program of music and tap. “It’s hard to sense where the music starts and the dancing ends, or where the dancing starts and the music ends. They’re just one,” says Teicher. Program to include excerpts from Bach’s Goldberg Variations and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
Gretna Music presents world-class musical performances from June 17 to September 17 in the Mt. Gretna Playhouse, 200 Pennsylvania Avenue, Mt. Gretna PA. This year’s season brings GRAMMY Award winners and nominees, and artists of many genres.
Tickets range from $5-$42. $5 tickets for ages 18 and under, $5 tickets for adults who bring a young person, half price tickets for ages 30 and under, and Pay-What-You-Will options are available. The pavilion-style Mt. Gretna Playhouse offers remarkable acoustics. It is open on the sides for summer breezes, allowing the occasional birds and cicadas to join in while the musicians play. Seating area is covered, as is the stage.
