Pianist Vijay Venkatesh joins the Lancaster Symphony at the Gardner Theatre on May 10 & 11 to perform one of the most virtuosic piano concertos ever written, Rachmaninoff’s Third Piano Concerto. The program’s second half features one of the most innovative compositions of the last 20 years by Peter Boyer. Together with live actors, multimedia elements, and the incredible musicians of the Lancaster Symphony, they will bring the story of Ellis Island and Boyer’s masterpiece to life.
