Rhubarb Festival

THE 2022 RHUBARB FESTIVAL IS HAPPENING ON MAY 20-21, 2022!

In the heart of Lancaster County, Kitchen Kettle Village has been celebrating rhubarb for over 30 years. Rhubarb is the harbinger of spring in Pennsylvania Dutch Country, and every year Kitchen Kettle Village pays tribute with a two-day food festival filled with delicious and sometimes zany events.

ACTIVITIES

There are plenty of activities for young and old, families and couples alike. See the fastest rhubarb cars in the world’s only rhubarb race-car derby. Dance down Pepper Lane to live music and interact with fun entertainers. Pay tribute to their own Rhubarb King & Queen and much more.

WHAT’S COOKING?

Lots of homemade rhubarb foods — rhubarb dips, sauces, pies & delectable drinks. We can’t wait to see you at this year’s Rhubarb Festival in Intercourse, Pa.

Do you think you have a rhubarb recipe worthy of a prize? Enter the Rhubarb Dessert Baking Contest in the categories of Rhubarb Pie, Rhubarb Cake & Rhubarb Dessert. All entries must include some form of rhubarb. You may only enter in up to two categories and you are limited to two entries per category for judging. You are only eligible to enter a maximum of four entries for judging however, you may donate as many pies, cakes, or desserts as you like to raise money for The Lancaster Farmland Trust. $250 goes to the Best of Show Dessert, along with gift certificate prizes of $50 for 1st place, $35 for 2nd place & $25 for 3rd place in each category. Remember…you gotta bake to win!
